NCMS warns of rough waters in Arabian Gulf (WAM) / 5 February 2014 People have been advised to stay away from the water and exercise caution if they must venture out into the sea. The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) has today reiterated its previous cautions and warnings to mariners in the Arabian Gulf due to current high seas. The centre added that waves reached a height of 12 feet in the Arabian Gulf, with strong and active north-westerly winds. People have been advised to stay away from the water and exercise caution if they must venture out into the sea.
