Dozens of real estate companies are set to attend the highly anticipated International Property Show (IPS) 2013 in Dubai later this month.Held alongside the Annual Investment Meeting, the gathering is expected to attract a number of private sector property heavyweights, as well as a selection of public sector organisations, AMEinfo reports. The Dubai Land Department (DLD) is just one of the bodies that will showcase its latest services and projects during the exhibition and director general of the division Sultan Butti Bin Mejren is pleased that so many firms have confirmed their attendance. He stated that the timing of IPS 2013 – which runs from April 30th until May 2nd – is poignant, as it coincides with a significant boom in the UAE’s real estate markets, and Dubai has re-established itself as a safe haven for investors in the past 12 months or so.Meanwhile, Dawood Al Shezawi – chief executive officer of Strategic Marketing and Exhibitions – said there has been a lot of interest in the event from investors and companies that simply want to learn more about new legislation that covers the property sector.”Well known developers, financial institutions, brokerage firms have confirmed their participation. Developers will showcase a number of big projects all over the UAE and abroad,” he was quoted as saying.Mr Al Shezawi said developers realise just how important it is for them to communicate with investors and Dubai is the ideal place for the two groups to meet and forge new relationships.Investors and construction firms have been busy in the last 12 months.
Gulf News recently reported that more women are now purchasing real estate in Dubai than ever before.Indeed, data provided by the DLD showed that females now account for 23 per cent of the emirate’s property market and they spent AED 13.3 billion on new assets in 2012 alone. This was a significant upturn on the previous year and it goes to show just how many exciting opportunities Dubai is offering to investors at the moment. The First Group can help you find apartments for sale in Dubai
