Aaron Morby | Thu 3rd October Clugston is to build on its long standing relationship with process technology contractor CNIM to develop biomass facilities. The two firms working together are presently building five waste to energy plants, as well as a 25 MWe biomass facility at Ridham Dock, in Kent. Paul Gouland, marketing director Clugston Construction said: “Limiting environmental impact is high on our agenda and we are very excited to be working with our long standing partner on new biomass opportunities. “Together with CNIM we have the opportunity and the resources to help deliver sustainable heat and electricity across the UK.” Bernard Bourée biomass project director at CNIM said: “Biomass is one of the most abundant sources of renewable energy and we have over 50 years experience in biomass projects around the world. “Biomass treatment provides an effective answer to the concerns of various economic stakeholders around the world with regard to sustainable development”.
