30 May 2013 A US-based renewable energy company has acquired a £165m biomass plant. Pacific Green Technologies (PGTK) has acquired, through the purchase of Pacific Green Energy Parks, the planning permission to develop a 49MWe biomass facility at Sutton Bridge, Lincolnshire, UK. EPSB managing director Chris Williams said: “We are very pleased to be the first step within PGTK’s strategy to build a dedicated Biomass and Waste to Energy Power Plant Development Group.” The developer is planning to use ENVI-PureTM Emission Control System for removal of harmful gases and pollutants generated by the plant.
